Stop old ways of make up

Women tend to stagnate in make up and althought they want a new image they tend to stick to the old-fashioned ideas. You have to get rid of old habits and open yourself to discovering your new beautiful personality. Forget negatives and think only about your positive features. Following some leftovers you can throw out of the window.

Sun-spots hiding

Sun-spots are beautiful! Let them be seen. Many models and actresses I am working with have sun-spots and they like them. Sun-spots make you look young and fresh.

Mat look

To make your face look mat by using poudre is totally out of date. You can correct the shiny skin by a liquid cosmetic regulating the facial grease of skin, or by absorbent paper or just absorbent poudre. You can also use poudre only on the “T-Zone”.

Using lip crayon

I often see a woman misusing their lip crayon which I think is the biggest sin. Contour never big lips if you don´t play theatre and don´t use a contour crayon darker than your lipstick or lip gloss.

Wrong corrector

Don´t use the corrector before applying foundation because then you would wipe off the corrector. And don´t use lighter shade than the foundation color because at the end you would be highlighingt instead of covering.

Determining the foundation Tone

Use never back of your hand to test the foundation tone. Use always thepart of your chest.

Strong Eyeline

A strong eyeline is ok if you want to create an evening look (like cat eyes). To get a more natural look it is better to bring out the eyeline into eyelashes.

Matching the Eyeshadow with the Eye Color

You will reach a better and more natural effect if you choose colors contrasting with your eye color. The contrast will highlight your eyes. If you use a shade corresponding with your eye color you will look like as if you used too much eyeshadow.

Faint rouge

Using uninteresting redish colors you will look only brown. Choose bright shades instead and apply them onto your cheecks with a big brush to get reddened effect.

Contouring

And again, if you don´t play theatre, use a corrector that lightens up. Countouring is almost always showy and it´s high time to cover different shapes and lines of our faces and concentrate on using make up that will beautify and refresh us.

Wrong pulling out

We thought thin eybrow is the best one and the slaughter started. It is necessary to put aside the tweezers. Many women tend to go too far. The eybrow is more natural and softer now.

That perfect form

To reach this perfect form put a bit of foundation onto the correction brush and after applying lipstick get rid of all smudges along you lips.

Right time to use lip color

Use lip color only if your lips are smooth and you don´t have wrinckles around your mouth. If you want smooth lips polish them with toothbrush wetted in sugar watter. Don´rub strongly and use always a light balm before the lip color.

Shine without reflex

Apply a perfect lipstick and then drop the gloss slightly only onto the inner part of your underlip. By that you get all the shine and no mess.

Top Drama

After lipstick or gloss application touch very slightly the philtrum and the underlip with glittering poudre.

We are wearing red

To reach perfectly red lip apply very slightly a line by using a lip crayon of natural color. Then color your lips with red. Apply red hydrating lipstick after that. Too dry and your lips will look crusty, to shine and it will slip right away. Beware of lip gloss, can cause mess.

Small lips

Avoid dark colors because lips look smaller then. Don´t contour big lips with contour crayon, instead of it choose a lipstick of light or bright shade or shiny gloss which holds the light.

Big lips

Don´t apply lip gloss over whole lips, only a bit into the middle of uperlip and underlip and spred with finger tips. The gloss will not overwhelm your face.

Countour disaster

Use never a darker countour crayon than the color of your lipstick. And if you want to emphasize your lips by your favorite crayon, use balm first, no ruggeed dry color will set in.

Smudging Color

If you have troubles with smudged mouth, line up your lips with crayon of natural shade and apply long lasting lipstick. Make sure it is a sufficiently hydrating one and avoid lip gloss.

5 easy steps for creating a “smoky look”

Before you start

1.To achieve the best results, use of a professional brush is always a great idea to amalgamate your eye make up, in case you use two or more colors. 2. It is a always great to apply very transparent poudre closely under the eyes, in case a shade would drop. Finally you can clean everything by a big soft poudre brush. 3. To avoid the drop of eye color, don´t forget to shake the spare eyeshadow from the brush. 4. It takes time to create beautiful smoky eyes, sometimes even 15 minutes for one. But still don´t forget to mix, mix and still mix.

Begin:

I usually like to begin wih black eyeline along the base of upper eyelashes. Make sure it is not that long, but too thin as well. I prefer applying the eyeline using a bevelled brush. Shade the part of upper eyelid with the brightest brown eyeshadow (I call it rainbow part), partly upwards. Make sure you didn´t apply the shadow too high into the part under eyebrow. This bright brown color creates a real “smoky” effect. Further then start with outer and inner eye corner towards to the basis of eyleashes apply black eyeshadow and tend upwards to light brown “smoky” shadowed part. Apply the darkest shadow on the basis of eyelashes and brighten it while directing upwards. What you want is to join both shadows (black and light brown) together (which may be the most complicated part) and mix them slightly and carefully otherwise they will look too dirty. To accent your eyes and help them to look bright, apply a bit of shiny white shadow close under the eyebrow, to inner eye corner and mix it a bit with the smoky shadow. Now (if you want to) apply a black eyeline towards to the lower eyelashes and spread carefully downwards by a swab to achieve the smoky effect. Now you can curl the eyelashes and apply your favorite mascara…and here we go! Remember, training makes a master.

It is always better to have greasy foundantion basis that can be covered with poudre than a drier one that points out our age.
